Indeed it is. Mostly because it’s full of criminals. But if you factor out about 10 neighborhoods Chicago becomes as “safe” as Geneva, Switzerland.
I’ll leave you to guess at the demographics of those ten or so neighborhoods.

So as many guns per capita as, GA.. and tons more crime. So guns do not deter crime in chicago?
For the record, the amount of melanin a person has does not make him a criminal. Criminal character and criminal upbringing probably do, esp if there is easy tax free money to go with it.

I would be interested to know, if someone erased every gang for 6 months, would ot change Chicago.
