So, the court is no longer firmly in radical leftist hands and therefore it’s “broken.”

Someone needs to tell this communist author to shove it. A stick of TNT will do.

Let us hope the Supreme Court gets even more "not well" by the standards of The Atlantic.

Exactly.

The Supreme Court became reliably Progressive in 1939. It has been Progressive ever since.

Now it is, finally, starting to do its job to uphold the Constitution as written.

The left cries "Foul"!

They loudly believe they should be able to twist the Constitution into whatever pretzel shape they wish, rendering it no Constitution at all.

Garrett needs to go easy on RBG, or what’s left of her.

Don’t worry, if anything happens, Garrett will save us. Academics know more than we do. We have to accept that and do what they say.

Off topic, but it fits in with the overall psyops to corrupt the minds of uneducated Americans.

I decided to look up the Wikipedia entry for the movie My Cousin Vinnie after watching it again the other night, when I came across this line:

Chief Judge Merrick Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in a 2019 decision stated, "In 1992, Vincent Gambini taught a master class in cross-examination.", and further extensively quoted from a cross-examination scene in the film.[16]
Apparently, liberal hero Merrick Garland cited the movie in his legal opinion (see the footnote in the above quote), and the warriors at Wikipedia inserted it into the movie entry as subliminal messaging on the merits of Obama nominees.

Bottom line: This is the Supreme Court that liberals want, the kind that cites movies in their rulings.

"The spat is about guns."

Yes, and the next appointment is not a "women's issue" or an issue for an expansionist, European religion. Those are only front issues for the blatant attack against our Constitution.

THEY ARE SICKENING AND JUST LIKE THE KILLERS OF EPSTEIN THEY ARE SHOWING US THAT THERE ARE NO RULES BUT THE ONES THEY DECIDE UPON.

Trump is Great but he needs our support.

I HATE crowds and rallies and concerts but I think it’s time to get to one of his rallies.

I’ll take a few extra xanax with me.

Not well? We knew that when those fools upheld Obamacare. Maybe Dr. Trump can bring this particular patient back to good health.

“...the court is no longer firmly in radical leftist hands and therefore it’s “broken.”...”

That is what it is about. These America-hating, Constitution-busting communists are attacking every important element of American greatness. Outright sedition and treason.

Traitor Roberts is certainly very questionable.

He needs to be held accountable for his FISA Court.

To convey how cynical this is, imagine that in 1937, Franklin D. Roosevelt had proposed his “Court packing” plan—and then accused Republicans of seeking to make changes in the sacred number of justices. The Court is already packed; the packing began in February 2016, with Scalia’s death, and continued with the Gorsuch nomination and Kavanaugh’s tantrum before the Judiciary Committee. And the packing effort has not even paused; Mitch McConnell has publicly said that regardless of the “election-year rule” he invented to block President Barack Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland, Republicans will confirm another justice to the Court if a vacancy occurs next year.
The loony toon is using the term “Court packing” to mean two different things (which is equivocation):
  1. Republicans winning an election based, to a large degree, on the issue of who should get to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat, combined with McConnell not allowing a vote on Obama's nominee, without inventing any new rules of any kind to accomplish that and which Democrats have also repeatedly done over the years.
  2. Roosevelt threatening to amend the constitution to add more justices to SCOTUS because they weren't ruling in accordance with his wishes, in order to pressure the sitting justices to change their legal decision (which the threat succeeded in doing) or failing that, to change the rules in a way that would enable him to make an inordinate number of appointments.

In fact, some Republicans openly opine that the Court issue is what won them the 2016 election—and when pressed about their lack of legislative accomplishments, they point with pride to their partisan makeover of the federal bench. Must we also be subjected to their solemn panegyrics to “judicial independence”?

The term “judicial independence” means that sitting judges are not subjected to outside pressure to alter their votes. What in that idiotic paragraph demonstrates such an attempt by the Republicans? It is only the Democrats that are actually doing or have done such a thing. He's apparently saying that appointing judges that correspond to one's own philosophies erodes “judicial independence”. This idiot has an bad equivocation problem.

IMHO, the court won’t be “well” until President Trump gets two more appointments.
