CNN and Fredo Cuomo didn’t object when one of Cuomo’s guests used the very same “ethnic slur” on Trump Jr. Ya got some ‘splainin to do, CNN.
“Fredo” is not used as a slur against Italians in particular. It is usually used to refer to someone who is the underachiever of his family, is a little slow, yet thinks he is smarter than he is. It refers to a character from the Godfather movies. If ever there was a Fredo, it is Chris Cuomo.
Fredo. Looks like he’s got a new nickname. hehe
I’m Italian and I call BS on Cuomo’s feigned indignance.

Yup. He was hired because he was Mario’s son, which is the same reason Andrew is Gov of NY.
If any one ever did that, they would know they two words do not have the same impact.
Fredo Cuomo is a homo that resents being called names, especially by Rush Limbaugh.
Everyone that is a fan of the Godfather, versions I & II, knows that Fredo was slow because of a childhood illness, and for no other reason.
There are no fans of the godfather 3, it was a cheap hollyweird rip off and is as unwatchable as is cnn.

Fredo is as much an Italian slur as reading Wikileaks is only legal for journalists. Chrissy is full of it. In the Cuomos, he is “Fredo”.
It’s not ok when Trump or his supporters defend themselves from media and Antifa verbal and physical attacks though.

Maybe Fredo got his pejoratives crossed.
Oh, so it’s more of an insult to stupid people who think they are smart. Is this what’s known as irony? Or coincidence?
If he comes to my neck of the woods, I’ll go out and buy a bullhorn and follow him around announcing, “Here come de Fredo,” and “Look out! It’s Fredo,” and “Get your Fredo, right here,” and “Have some fun with Fredo,” and so on. I mean, the possibilities are endless.
I think Rush was the one who “coined” that — connecting it with Chris Cuomo. CC is the loser sibling, like Fredo was the loser sibling in “Godfather”.
And “Fredo” didn’t become comparable to the N word until CC pulled that out of his ass this week. It’s just a man’s name, short for Alfredo, I’ve heard.
