That is so true.
A Houston friend recently mentioned that there are very few white people in downtown Houston after sundown. And other than lawyers, the number of white-owned businesses with headquarters in downtown Houston has been dwindling.
Houston is also known as “Washington DC on the Brazos”. That is not a political reference.
