Joaquin Castro outed his own donors in bid to shame Trump supporters

Trump donors whose names and employers were posted in a highly controversial tweet by Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro blasted the Texas congressman on Wednesday for what they described as a “ridiculous” stunt and, in interviews with Fox News, rejected his claim that they are “fueling a campaign of hate” against Hispanics.

One of those Trump donors even revealed he's also been a supporter of local Democratic lawmakers—including Castro himself.

Wayne Harwell, the owner of a local real estate development company whose name appeared on the list Castro shared on Monday night, told Fox News in a phone interview that he donated money to Castro’s congressional campaign. But he suggested that after Castro outed him in a bid to shame Trump supporters, he won't be supporting Castro anymore.

“I was also on a list of people that gave to Castro and if he dislikes me enough that he wants to put my name out there against Trump, I’m not going to give money to him,” Harwell told Fox News. “Obviously Castro feels pretty strongly against me.”

“I think some of the Democratic rhetoric is more hateful than some of Trump’s rhetoric,” he [Harwell] said. “I think the San Antonio community needs to take a real deep look at what Castro is doing. Why is he doing this?”

I take that as offered tongue-in-cheek. The Cubans in South Florida who escaped from Castro and their first generation progeny are solidly conservative and NOT enamoured of big government. Their grandchildren, alas are turning into voting ethnics. The conservatives among the Cubanos are still in the majority but that edge is shrinking.

Why does there need to be a "campaign of hate" against Hispanics? If foreign nationals break into your home, rape or shoot your daughters, kill your neighbors in auto accidents on your street, are automatically weaponized by the local capitalists (new cars and trucks and fancy smart phones for everybody flashing a Matricula Consular card), are exempted from local law enforcement, vote in national elections and negate your vote courtesy of your own government, crowd you out at your hospital ER or doctors' office, marginalize your children in the local school, and still have enough left over for military haircuts, inking, and gold jewelry for the signors, and pedicures and blonde hair streaking and horsetails for the senoritas, why in hell would you need a third party to motivate you to "hate" them?

I don't get this at all.
