Farmers are strong, resourceful people who are the bedrock of this country.

They got you fooled. Manufacturing is the bedrock of any first/second world countries economy, agriculture is ghetto.

Really, how much do you think you can manufacture with an empty belly?

“They got you fooled. Manufacturing is the bedrock of any first/second world countries economy, agriculture is ghetto.”

Apples and oranges.

A safe, secure, and abundant supply of nutritious food is essential to the health and security of the nation.

Ever hear of laying siege during war? It’s very effective.

It would be suicide for our nation to become dependent on foreign powers, especially Communist ones, for our food.

Manufacturing and agriculture go hand and hand. Hungry people cannot produce goods efficiently.

The fact that wealth comes from the design and manufacture of goods does not detract from the absolute necessity of feeding the nation’s people.
