WASHINGTON - President Trump is defending himself against accusations of racism, claiming he’s just the latest target of a party that plays the “race card,” as he leveled criticism against Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md.
Trump called out Cummings on Saturday, slamming him as a “brutal bully” for how he spoke to border patrol officials, and said that the congressman’s Baltimore district is in “FAR WORSE” shape than the situation at the southern border. That rebuke resulted in claims of racism from Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but Trump pointed out that he’s hardly the first to get accused of racism, with the speaker herself recently in the middle of a similar controversy. ...

For me Cummings is the latest argument for term limitation. I understand he has been in Congress since 1996. It must be nice to have a job where you can sit around, do almost nothing for 23 years, and get paid $174,000 a year for it.

No pun intended but to the left the ‘race card” is definitively their trump card.
The stooges in the media are obviously sexist. Notice how the MSM kick the “racist” tweet attacks on the squad to the side in favor of protecting a black man from “racist” tweets. The media needs expand it’s use of “racist” to include protecting white leftists from Trump’s racism too. I just know Trump somehow harbors racist feelings about Slo’ Joe.
That has always been the case. The tools have been playing that card for 50 years now. What I don’t understand is why ANYBODY pays any attention to that ploy after all this time?

I have the solid opinion that whenever some man-bun wearing limp dick utters the word “racist” they should immediately have their larynx crunched.
When Trump is attacked as a racist, he should respond by pointing out the things he has done to help Blacks.
For example, closing the southern border would help inner-city Blacks immensely by preventing hordes of illegal aliens from flooding their cities, thereby making jobs harder for Black residents to find, and causing increasingly overcrowded schools, hospitals, and housing availability, thereby curtailing such services for Blacks.
Why can’t Trump explain this? Why can’t he explain that these problems have caused closing the border to become one of his top priorities? Doing so could cause at least some Black hearts and minds to come to his side for his re-election.
The strategy of using Blacks like Elijah Cummings as well-deserved punching bags is okay up to a point. But if he wants to expand support from Blacks and those who genuinely want to help Blacks, he needs to get serious and explain what’s going on.
The word ‘racist’ needs to be etched out of human consciousness forever.
Anyhow, when the communist chinese and radical islamists make their move against America, after the big quake, and nukes within, they won’t discriminate, they will try and kill us all just the same.
Trump is a genius. After this weeks failed Mueller hearings, he is purposely going after an outspoken black congressmen in the hopes of trying to get the democrats to overreach and start impeachment proceedings against him....BRILLIANT!!!
I think the American Electorate is becoming Numb to the constant charge of Racism every time a Minority is criticized. It is becoming an old and tired charge used every time a Liberal is subjected to the truth. It is kind of like the old broken record and I believe it has seen it’s best days as a political weapon.
Of course they play the race card. It’s one of the few remaining to them.
