Free stuff is the only way democrats ever win. They have no idea what it means to vote based on principles of what's best for the country now and in the future. So they ask themselves 'why would a black person be at a Trump rally when we have convinced black people that he is racist.'
They have only one trick, so they believe it must be that trick.
That is how projection works. Your vocabulary of available explanations for other people's behavior is limited to your own bad behavior because ... it's all you know.

Black support for Trump, or at least their growing disdain for Dems, is often rooted in a very real resentment of the foreign invasion of this country. While Americans of all stripes lose jobs to foreigners here, blacks can probably see the real impact most. I can’t think of a single field where I see less blacks now, coupled with more Hispanics. Whether it is in low-skilled work (service industries) or government jobs, they’re being replaced very quickly - and they see it very clearly. They know they’ve been dumped for the new, more numerous “minority du jour”, and no longer pay heed to the mantra that they have nowhere else to go.
