In addition to deportation we need to start imposing serious fines on those who hire or rent to illegal aliens, to be followed by criminal prosecution for repeat offenders. Remove the incentives for illegal aliens to come here.
Yeah, how about a reward for identifying businesses that use illegal labor. Seems like that would be politically more feasible and still very effective. Then with no (or substantially less) work available, the illegals would self deport.
Simply enforcing the eVerify system would probably have a dramatic effect.
