Remain in your combat boots, I am just reporting what I read. Acosta said that he was waved off of a harsh prosecution because JE was working with an intel agency. More than that I do not know.

Clinton, the famous parser of words, as in “it depends on what the definition of ‘is’ is”, may be doing more parsing here. He says he took a total of 4 trips with Epstein in 2002 and 2003. That may be true, but where does the statement say those were the only trips he ever took with Epstein? Perhaps he took dozens in other years.
Some reports are saying all charges were going to be dropped with Mueller’s input, Acosta got what charges he could, which included soft jail time & sex offender registry.
One prosecutor said the Florida authorities thought they were just dealing with prostitution, not child trafficking.
Idk. We’ll see how all this plays out.
Here’s my question: where were these girls’ parents?
They were recruited & paid hooker fees by Epstein, they came & went freely, & recruited other young girls, & their parents didn’t know or care?

I’m not seeing anything indicating they were runaways or estranged from parents. They lived at home? Went to school?
The main accuser is Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who, ALONG WITH HER FATHER, Sky Roberts, were employees of Mar-A-Lago, when she claims the Maxwell woman recruited her at age 15 for Epstein.
Roberts-Giuffre claims she recruited other girls & continued her relationship with Epstein until she was 19.
She made the odd statement, she felt he’d dumped her for being “too old” at 19.
One report also says she only came forward in 2008 when THE FBI CONTACTED HER. Epstein had just testified against a couple of Bear-Stearns guys, who were subsequently acquitted.
Reports say Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar-A-Lago for assaulting a young girl.
Was that girl Virginia Roberts?

Interesting. Reject. Clinton is guilty of Epstein and very few people will defend Clinton. Trump has nothing to do with Clinton. Epstein is busted simply because a new sheriff entered DC in January 2017 and things have been improving tremendously, especially for kids stuck in trafficking.

Showing Trump as the sheriff is a bit much. Trump is not THAT innocent here, let’s stick to facts. He hung around with Jeffrey for 15 years. He might never have touched a young girl, but he knew and didn’t do much to stop it. Yeah, 1000% more than some of the others did, but not enough.

Do you have a link that he was friends with Epstein for 15 years? I haven’t read that. He hasn’t seen him in 15 years - that’s been reported.
Girls do a lot of things without parents knowing anything. They are easily duped into believing someone cares about them.
Grooming like this, is a high level, well practised skill. Clearly it pays more than honest work.
Peobably working, esp single parent homes, bus shhhh we can’t say there may be consequences to that. (I was raised by a single parent).
Ever want to see grooming at that level, ask your church youth keadership about the training they take.

Acosta got a conviction as a result of a plea bargain. He must have had a reason for not going to a jury. He should be willing to share his motivation with us and stand scrutiny over it. Additionally, there should be a judge (unknown at this point) who approved the plea results and the punishment. He or she should also defend his approval rational. Acosta isn’t Jack McCoy but this whole thing sounds like a episode of Law and Order.

I do not know if trump was ever “friends” with Epstein. The famous quote out everywhere now, has Trump saying he’s known Epstein for 15 years, he’s a terrific guy... (which is Trumpspeak that he says about everyone incl King Jong Un etc, meaningless). Luckily, the “guilt by association” touches pretty much every wealthy person in NY, so if Trump did nothing untoward he’s fine.
Trump said he knew him for 15 years. They both imported beautiful women from other countries, they both were playboy billionaires. Trump can’t come in today and play Sqeaky Clean Sheriff. Trump was never squeaky clean. I like him as President but come on.

Again, I haven’t heard that - even tonight on the news that wasn’t reported. What he said was that he hadn’t seen Epstein in 15 years.
