Palmetto State Armory responded to Nike’s decision to pull its Betsy Ross Flag shoes by releasing gun parts with the flag etched on them.

CBS News reported that Nike pulled the Betsy Ross Flag sneakers after Colin Kaepernick suggested that the flag was tied to slavery.

Palmetto State Armory thanked Nike for helping bring attention to the flag with the decision to cancel the Fourth of July shoes. Palmetto State Armory is etching the flag on AR-15 lowers. They put the words “I Stand – 15” under the flag in place of the moniker “AR-15”.

I predict that the Democrat Party will fund some astroturf some white supremacist group and use the Betsy Ross flag as its symbol.

This is a great local store. I recall they came up with a similar A-15 lower part commemorative of our Senator Joe Wilson after his “You Lie” outburst.

They could take it up a notch by donating to a fund to buy Kapernick a one way ticket to Africa.

They should make a shooting target with Kaep wearing a Nike “just do it” t-shirt on it.

That would be the proper response.

Yeah, I was looking at their website. They have an M-4 build kit that comes with everything but a stripped lower on sale for $279.99. And that includes the full BCG and all the lower parts. I've seen 'no-name' stripped lowers out there for as little as $39.99. $320 base for a complete semi is a steal, even after you roll in the transfer fee, shipping, and taxes - great for the DIY types out there. I used my son-in-law to help me get a flattop AR for a hundred bucks more, and I sunk some money into modding it pretty good.

I suppose but and AR-15 would have done fine against a 1776 black powder musket with a lethal range of 150 yards.

what if George Washington’s army had AR-15s when they crossed the Delaware River.

Some poor Hessian's last words would have been, "Come on now, what's a little bitty bullet like that going to do up against a .75 caliber Brown Be-"

But they might not have gotten that far. Consider how many AR's have been lost in boating accidents. Sad, very sad.

They are a great store, and I think that Joe Wilson’s brother is one of the owners of PSA.

Just returned home from a morning at the range (PSA) with my Son. Brought home a new lower in the process for a future build. May pick up another one at the end of the month if they still have some, but they’re going fast. Spent the afternoon shooting at Shooter’s Choice (the two of us are on a roll until he goes back to college). I will say this. The PSA range is a whole lot cooler in this weather than is the Shooter’s Choice range. We came out of there a little while ago drenched, literally soaking wet. Both places have a ton of deals going-on, a lot of them pistol/rifle combo deals with outstanding savings.
