The number of working American journalists murdered is - as a percentage - much lower than that of journalists murdered who are not American (or who identified as working with Americans). So this isn't a big deal.
Khashoggi's death doesn't matter (his murder is a statistical anomaly). His death doesn't matter one whit more than the death of a loved American child murdered by an illegal matters to the press. So please New York Times stuff it - we don't care about 'yours' any more than you care about 'ours'...
