Why is a Harvard education so coveted? It cannot be it really makes for a better educated person. Maybe it is connections.

Its been said the greatest benefit of a Harvard degree is never again having to be impressed when you meet a Harvard graduate.
Of course the prime benefit is the open doors because of the sheepskin and its connections.

Why is a Harvard education so coveted? Only coveted by those who feel it's important for them to be able to tell others they graduated from Harvard... kinda like someone buying a Ferrari so they can tell others they drive a Ferrari.
