Nolte: 90 Million Pay Money to CNN While Fewer than 1 Million Watch
Breitbart ^ | 13 Mar 2019 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 06/12/2019 10:34:34 PM PDT by ConservativeMind

According to the far-left outlet’s own fact sheet, CNN is currently available in 90 million households. This means 90 million people pay money to CNN every month even though fewer than one million on average actually watch CNN.

The game is rigged, folks. And it is especially rigged against those normal Americans who on a daily basis are bullied, taunted, discriminated against, demonized, threatened, and menaced by CNN. You see, it works like this…

Even if you don’t watch CNN, you are still forced to pay for CNN. It is called a carriage fee, and every month you subsidize this hate network to the tune of about $1.00 a month, or around $12.00 a year.

Gee, I seem to remember a Senator McCain saying he/they would make cable TV be a cafeteria plan at much lower cost.

That was when cable TV pay channels were hyped for not having...commercials.

All I have is DSL because capitalism dictates it’s not worth bring BB to the rural areas. This is in contrast to some parts of sub-Saharan Africa which have it.

My issue is wife has to have Bravo. Haven’t seen a package cable/internet/satellite where can get Bravo without CNN.

We live in a rural county, only have very slow DSL so streaming is out for us, and only choice we have is Directv.......guess you don’t have any rural friends.......strange.......I have plenty of urban friends......

I’ll cut the cord as soon as we have another alternative.......

I don’t. I subscribe to programming through playstation vue on my FireTV cube at a substantial savings vs. directv via satellite.

Maybe if you stopped supporting the Negros, Liberals, and Felons it would.

I cut the cords, and replaced it with ... nothing. The only thing my TV is used for is as a head for my media player, or to watch DVDs. Don’t miss TV at all.

Speaking for myself only …

And you have missed some great games

< shrug > Whatever. "Great" "games"? "Great" is doing something myself, not being a mere spectator.

and have changed nothing.

Getting to live life, instead of watching other people do it, isn't nothing.

I'm sort of glad those miserable thuggish punks did their thing. It induced me to take my life back from the idiot box.

Are you asking about how to cut the cord or how CNN gets that much money from everyone?

That is how ALL cable channels work...

Which is why they fight tooth and nail to not allow a la carte...

If you can pick and choose your channels and only those channels 80-90% of all cable channels would be out of business within 3 months.

Forget Direct TV Now. Hulu haslive streaming for $44.00 which also includes all of the content on Hulu, besides the live streaming. Direct TV Now charges $50.00 (which started at $40.00 & they raised it without notice) You get more channels with Hulu to boot.

Do you have a television antenna, as well? By “cutting the cord,” it means not paying for these cable/dish packages and choosing a free antenna option and/or getting what channels you do want via an Internet connection, which is still mainly wired or “corded.”

For instance, you can get Fox Business and Fox News from several packages that are Internet based, meaning you aren’t subsidizing any cable channels like CNN or MSNBC that aren’t a part of the package you bought. It also means you get OANN for $5/month over the Internet, as well.

Would you like more information on these or similar options?
