The U.S. House Judiciary Committee led by Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) could not persuade Special Counsel Robert Mueller to come and testify in their Impeachment Show.

The "Mueller Manifesto" written for Congress failed to deliver any grounds for legal action against President Trump, his campaign leadership, or his children. The public has mostly moved on and decided that the witch-hunt is over.

Therefore, the Democrats -- desperate to make the voters care -- hauled in John Dean to do a "dramatic reading" of parts of the Mueller report. (A "table read.")

Just as more young people will watch the movie version of a book than will read the book, Democrats in Congress have actually admitted in cable TV show interviews that they want to dramatize the Mueller report so that the voters will understand it (in their view) and care. What the "Mueller Manifesto" needs, Democrats have all but admitted, is some Broadway razz-a-ma-tazz: A chorus line. Cheerleaders. Anything to try to get voters to listen.

So on June 10, Chairman Jerry Nadler convened a panel in a hearing titled "Lessons From The Mueller Report." The purpose of the hearing was to read on TV what you could read for yourself in the Mueller Manifesto. John Dean was flanked by two misleading former federal prosecutors and Heritage Foundation scholar John Malcolm, who just mostly agreed with the Democrats like a poodle wanting his belly rubbed.

Another misleading headline.

Getting SO SICK of these and thought FR was a better place than that.

Please folks read the story you are pushing to see if it has ANY connection to the title thread and is not a “wishful thinking” title.

ALL we get too much of lately are “bombshells”, potential “bombshells, the “big one”, “coming indictments”, the “hammer is going to fall”. “so and so says soon!!” etc.

Enough.

Just the facts, ma’am.

Heck, maybe the Democrats can put Dean on payroll so he can read the Affordable Healthcare Act to Pelosi, who passed it before reading it because they needed to pass it so they could read it; and as far as I can tell she’s never read it at all! Despite her “promises.”

There was some democrat on CNN last night whining that that the media didn't cover Dean's testimony well enough and blamed the Helicopter Crash in New York for why nobody seemed to care or be talking about it today. She even went as far as to say they might call him back for a "redo".

Hillarious! They actually thought dragging this old fuddy-duddy, who nobody under 60 even recognizes, out of the old folks home was going to gin up some kind of massive public outcry for impeachment. Instead everybody just yawned...even worse, those who bothered to watch yawned, the vast majority ignored it entirely.

Dramatic Reading indeed. I was in a jury selection for a civil case in which a lawyer for an estranged son who was written out of his fathers will was suing the estate for his attorney fees since the good for nothing son had no money. The lawyer told us there were thousands of pages of documents but he wouldn't make us read them all. He said he would have someone read the pertinent ones to us from the witness stand. I asked him if the reader would be an actor reading lines and he asked what I meant. I said depending on how you emphasize words the can mean different things. He said words re words I responded with something I had learned years before Take the four words I love my children. If I say, I. love my children the emphasis is on my feelings not others. If I say I love my children, the emphasis is on the felling. If I say I love my children, maybe I'm not so fond of other children. If I say I love my children , maybe I'm not so fond of my ex. I got dismissed.

I began developing a knot in my stomach that sits there to this day.

Gut feelings are a type of emotional state. Emotions are a response and not a means of knowledge. Making decisions on the basis of an emotional state is irrational.

".... Mr. Trump had a very good chance of winning and I began developing a knot in my stomach that sits there to this day...."

Hey Mr. Convicted-Felon-For-Obstructing-Justice-Yourself Dean, how about you take some Alka-Seltzer for that pit in your stomach and stop blaming it on Trump?

Nixon was a Republican.

Trump is a Republican.

Which party does Dean play on?
