I other words they’re going to drag this on, and drag this on, and drag this on. They’ll use this as a weapon against Trump all the way to the election. Here’s hoping that Trump will tell them to put up or shut up. But we’ll see.
It could backfire. I am not sure that spending your entire Congress trying to impeach and then not doing it is a winning strategy.
They’ll use it all through the second term also. It is effective in slowing down Trupm’s programs (wall, immigration reform, healthcare fix, etc.)
The only way to make it less effective is to take back the House in 2020
If not, then declare martial law and ship Dems to Gitmo for insurrection, sedition and treason. If the courts get mouthy they can join them.
