Hey Greenies: Check out the global revolt against your green agenda...

For all the good press the green agenda gets in the mainstream media, voters in free countries across the globe are getting wise to just what this feelgood earth religion really about.

Not green jobs, as President Obama liked to promise. Not lower emissions - just ask Germany about that one. Not saving the planet.

Nope, just less money in one's pocket and more power in the government's hand reaching for it.

The Heartland Institute's H. Sterling Burnett, writing for the Washington Examiner, has a good one on just what's going on globally, calling it 'backlash':

From Alberta to Australia, from Finland to France, and beyond, voters are increasingly showing their displeasure with expensive energy policies imposed by politicians in an inane effort to purportedly fight human-caused climate change.

Skepticism over whether humans are causing dangerous climate change has always been higher in America than in most industrialized countries. As a result, governments in Europe, Canada, and other developed areas are much farther along the energy rationing path, cutting carbon dioxide emissions as required. However, residents in these countries have begun to revolt against the higher energy costs they suffer under due to high taxes on fossil fuels and mandates to use expensive renewable energy.

This is what originally prompted protesters in France to don yellow vests and take to the streets in 2018. They were protesting scheduled increases in fuel taxes, electricity prices, and stricter vehicle emissions controls, which French President Emmanuel Macron had claimed were necessary to meet the country’s greenhouse gas reduction commitments under the Paris climate agreement. After the first four weeks of protest, Macron’s government canceled the climate action plan.

The Australian election was a major fail for the Green New Deal.

You can only push a lie for so long. As people age they can see that the climate has not varied much in their lifetimes. Here in Mexifornia we’re having a late surge in winter like weather. More heavy snow is falling in the high Sierras and there are record low temperatures. This is on top of a historic Snowpack and the reservoirs are full already. At some point the scaremongering has to come to an end.

RE: Here in Mexifornia we’re having a late surge in winter like weather.

Notice how the term “Global Warming” isn’t being used my nowadays. Now, it’s climate change.

When the temperature is hot, it’s climate change
When the temperature is cold, it’s climate change
When there are tornadoes, typhoons and earthquakes, it’s climate change.
When people are hungry in Haiti, it’s climate change.

A term that explains everything, explains nothing.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

They will write it a very sternly worded letter

Fantasies and wishful thinking are products of the imagination. What leftards wish for fail the rational criteria for well formed outcomes, because their utopia is not ecological. It has high costs, negative consequences, and risks compared to benefits. It also contradicts America’s core values and identity. And it rejects the absolutism of the metaphysically given, which is the fact of reality that man’s life requires wealth, which requires economic progress, which requires increased total productive ability.

“If it is GREEN, it doesn’t work.”

But it can. From the start, the applications for alternative energy were wrong. Each source needs its own applications where the strength of the technology maxed out.

As an example, nuclear power is the best for sustained usage. This would apply to housing, businesses and infrastructure. It’s still the cheapest of the alternatives, been in use for over 40 years and is a proven technology.

Solar should be used in areas where there is little rain and is close to a water source. Build desalination facilities and use solar to power them. Problem here is collection technology. Having miles and miles of panels is too big a footprint and it is a waste of land.

Now, having a pipeline type of collection, where the pipes are lined in solar collecting material, with numerous power plants along the route which can carry water is the way to go. You can run the pipes for hundreds of miles, collect sunlight to convert to energy and bring clean water to towns.

Wind turbines should be used as one-offs for smaller requirements. A farm for example. However, where wind would have the greatest benefits is being collected far off-shore and then transported back to other power stations that can supplement traditional energy sources.

Here is where I would use the turbines for other uses like, monitoring for radiation. Network the turbines with radiation monitors. If radiation is detected, the Coast Guard or nearest navy vessel can check it out. This could be part of a green national security initiative.

Because this is all political, the only thing the left has is Orange Man bad and Communism is good, as long as the leaders of the movement are exempt.

A far better example of green energy, are dams. We need to build more, and use nature's flow of water to generate electrical energy.

However, greenies are pushing to tear down dams, and new dams are not being built. There is a big push to tear down Hetch Hetchy dam in Yosemite Park. Greenies are hypocrites.
