OK, let’s remove all references to Robert Byrd, who was once in the KKK.

Let’s remove all JFK memorials, and remove his name from all that it is on (e.g. JFK International Airport), because he was a serial philanderer who cheated on his wife in the White House, and potentially contributed to the death of Marilyn Monroe - at least emotionally.

Let’s remove all references to Teddy Kennedy, for obvious and myriad reasons.

Excellent point. And it’s worth noting that Byrd was more than just a run-of-the-mill KKK member. He was an Exalted Cyclops, the top officer of his local Klan unit.
