He'd probably make it to the first door. After that his future does not look too promising.
I envision him getting the first citizen's 15-30 of spent bullets and a fancy body bag with a communist or Nazi flag draped over it for his trouble. Act like a duck, walk like a duck, talk like a duck; probably a duck.
I guess that would just have to do for the comfort and closure of those he intended to wrong.
