Cher might not be ready for an influx of illegals into her state, but she might want to come up with a plan B because that’s apparently not going to slow down the President. After a variety of stories emerged about how the White House was going to ship illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities, mixed with denials and partial confirmations, President Trump appears to have made up his mind. Gas up the buses because the illegal alien parade may be coming to a city near you any day now. (NY Post)
President Trump said Monday that he plans to go ahead with his plan to send migrants to sanctuary cities.
Those Illegal Immigrants who can no longer be legally held (Congress must fix the laws and loopholes) will be, subject to Homeland Security, given to Sanctuary Cities and States! Trump tweeted.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Earlier Monday, Trump criticized lawmakers, who are on a two-week recess, to get something done.

Of course, this is yet another policy proclamation via tweet, so there’s no way of knowing if any official orders have been sent out or if DHS actually has a plan in place for how to do this. But would it really be as difficult as some people are making it out to be?
I was just writing about this the other day while discussing the latest mob of illegal immigrants breaking through Mexico’s southern border and joining a caravan heading north. Since they may wind up being candidates for such a program, we would need to know if this is both legal and feasible.
As to the first count, I’ve yet to see a compelling argument against the legality of the plan. When illegals are captured and detained, if they can’t have their cases heard immediately and there’s no room in a nearby detention center, they frequently wind up being released into the interior of the United States and given a court date. (Catch and release.) But who is to say that they have to be released from that location? Sending them to a less congested court jurisdiction makes sense.
But you can’t just pull a bus up to the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets and dump them all out on the sidewalk, can you? It seems to me that the local court would need to assign them an appearance date and then release them from there. Who knows? There might even be some free beds to detain them if the court date is close enough. It’s worth checking, anyway.
How about the logistics of such a plan? Thousands of airline tickets would run up the cost quickly, not to mention having to fly law enforcement agents along with them to keep things under control. But buses might work, right? You can drive from the Tijuana crossing to San Francisco in a little over eight hours if the traffic isn’t too insane. Heck, you can drive to Seattle in less than 24 hours, assuming you can swap out a couple of drivers.
This plan obviously sounds outrageous if you’re a Democrat, but then, everything Trump does outrages somebody. Is it really all that daunting? As with many things in life, how will we know if we don’t try?
Considering they should be shot for violating our border, a bus ticket is a gift they dont deserve.
Until these tweets turn into actual policy, it’s just more bread and circus for the low IQ types.
Turnabout’s fair play, after Obama saturated the heartland of America with his refugee termites.
I hear the military has lots of C130 transports.
It would be the greatest feat unless he can somehow stop DNC election fraud.
Good opportunity for C-5 and C-17 training flights.
He should a rally at the location where they are brought, to welcome them all to America and this great sanctuary city, and give out cards with the names and phone numbers for all city officials who will make sure they have everything they need. And those of the US Congressmen for the state in case they need any extra help.
School buses
Maybe they will make some room for some of our homeless Veterans and elderly, you know, so they can get some of that gravy train the sanctuary cities are giving away for “free.”
Wouldn’t that be worth watching, what if a legal citizen, who happened to be a homeless veteran found his/her way on a bus or plane to a sanctuary city, would they take care of him/her or send them away because they aren’t illegal....hhhhmmmmmm .
Yes, Buses were mentioned as transport. Buses are not suitable. Roads will, that is will, be blocked and buses do not carry nearly enough illegals.
You noted C 130’s. They are readily available but I wonder how many illegals can be loaded on a C 130?
An airliner capable of 300 or so passengers is the best transport. Park it on the tarmac and make them get out.... end of journey.
Wish Trump would actually stop the invasion instead of tweaking his massive catch and release program.
Airline tickets my ass! Set up rest stops ahead of time with rudimentary food and water, establish dedicated routes and contract a load of school buses to get the transportation requirement done. Law enforcement can escort the busses in luxury Suburbans for all I care. Airline tickets, t-heh.
school buses.....
think it through
Roads will be blocked
School buses might be used as a feint while hundreds are releasd on the tarmac at the airports
But you cant just pull a bus up to the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets and dump them all out on the sidewalk, can you?
Sure you can. I say dump them on the steps of the 9th Circuit Courthouse 5 busloads at a time.

It was just a joke my friend....and apparently a not so good one. lol :^)
Sure is. Check my tag line.
