It would be entirely reasonable if the CBS directives for “assassination” were followed by “You lose your license, CBS!”
But it would be unreasonable if they weren’t then prosecuted for treason.
Except for some corporate owned affiliates and that through holding companies, CBS doesn’t *have* a license to pull. Same for all the other networks.
