Have no fear, Mitch McConnell now believes in AGW.

I went through handgun training with Pinkerton some 30 years ago. Then another agency dangled a bigger paycheck, sent me to the GSA pig pen in D.C. to complete my A1 cert and range qualify, and I spent a couple of years packing a .38 Special at DoJ. Kinda sucked because when we’d throw the charm bracelets on someone, the county police had partial jurisdiction since it was a leased facility, and they made us do all their damn paperwork for them. Upside was, we were one of the few facilities in the area authorized to carry hollow points, so if we ever had to draw down and shoot, the perp would stay shot.

The “pinks” had a reputation of being hired guns back in the day. I honestly don’t know what they are like now.

If it was a smoothbore shotgun or something similar, you might not. Some agencies make their “less than lethal” weapons bright orange for this reason.
