Now that is exactly how an African American rightly speaks truth to power. Candace Owens was courageous in her prepared remarks delivered to a clearly hostile and transparently cynical subcommittee. In her extemporaneous rebuttal of their spurious allegations, Candace Owens was at once passionate and poised-a very difficult combination to carry on with grace.

We need her on the campaign trail.

Owens and Cortex are such totally opposite personalities and demonstrate pretty well the political divide in America, an intellectual history grounded and very bright articulate woman on the Right and a vacuous script reading pretty face on the Left.

I like her a lot. Young. Smart. Quick thinker. Verbal. But before I jump on the Candace bandwagon she’ll simply need to remain conservative for a few more years. In her own words from way back in 2017:

“I became a conservative overnight ... I realized that liberals were actually the racists. Liberals were actually the trolls ... Social Autopsy is why I’m conservative...”

She’s only been in the game a couple years. Allowing her the time to adjust to the spot light will reveal her real abilities. Rather than run for some office, I suspect her greatest impact potential is remaining a critical thinking political commentator.

That said, CO and AOC having a discussion about... really any relevant topic of the day... would be very entertaining.
