A difference without a distinction?

I am so naïve.

It occurred to me that nothing interested President Trump in the job more than trying to help the country recover after the 20 years of neglect and corrupt leadership.

Here in Washington state the two biggest law firms are K&L Gates and Perkins Coie.

I have a lot more trust in Kirkland & Ellis/Gates than I do Perkins Coie.

I hope Barr and Bolton never do what Kavanaugh and Starr did: http://www.allanfavish.com/index.php/vincent-foster

I believe Kavanaugh is the one who gave Starr the legal rationale for expanding his investigation to include Foster.

Foster wasn't part of the Starr probe of the Clintons.

I'd be more concerned with Rosen's defense of Jeffrey Epstein at Kirkland & Ellis.

Ask yourself why a guy worth $10 billion would run for President and put up with daily cavity searches.

why someone would leave a $5 million per year job for a $200k government job

Same reason people spend millions on a political campaign to get a job that pays thousands

My cousin’s husband is a prominent DC attorney.
Life is very good in DC for those with connections.

Chevy Chase.....”FLETCH”. I don’t like his politics, but I enjoy some of his comedy.

Funny how so many here are dead certain that they know more about Trump’s personnel choices than he does
Probably many of the same geniuses that said he should fire Mueller.

Had he done that he would most definitely be facing obstruction charges right now.

He also most likely, has to take what he can get.

Always curious picks and I wonder who advises the president to make such picks.

He has to go with someone that says yes. Would you want to work in the administration with those wacky Dems in the house? I wouldn’t and I predict President Trump received a ton of thank you, but no thank you.

Everything you say can be paralleled in speaking of Asian-Americans. Democrats like to hand them meaningless local sinecures so they think they are being included. Fear of "white male redneck violence" outside of their enclaves is always the undertone Democrats use. And Republicans are generally too stupid to try recruiting them - our new Arizona Secretary of State Kimberly Yee (R) being a rare exception.

For a better example of what Democrats really think of Asian-Americans, they should take a closer look at Ivy League admission quotas.

[ Same reason people spend millions on a political campaign to get a job that pays thousands? ]

How about $1 billion spent on a job that paid $400,000 a year for 8 years? (to further reinforce your point)
