Barr also worked at Kirkland & Ellis.

I believe this nominee's strength is Constitutional Law.

And he was nominated way back in February.

Same reason people spend millions on a political campaign to get a job that pays thousands?

Trump?

“I hope Rosen is a knife fighting Mossad type jew. I’ve got a feeling he is.”

The Democrats will hate him and it’s another Trump attempt to get more Jewish voters voting for him in 2020. I really think Trump wants to turn NY towards the Republicans.

Unless this guy has verifiable and impeccable Conservative credentials, I will assume the worst.

Trump's record of choosing RINOs and Obama appointees for FBI and DOJ jobs is beyond shocking.

One slightly encouraging fact - 42 Democrat Senators voted against Rosen when he was confirmed for his “Transportation” job.

Jeffrey A Rosen is a former senior partner at Kirkland & Ellis Doesn’t get more insider than that

Kavanaugh, Bork, Barr, Starr and Bolton are Kirkland & Ellis notables.

I wonder Whitaker’s plans are? He’d sure make a great special counsel.

I was thinking Congress.

Not sure that Trump will really enhance his bankroll after retiring from POTUS...maybe he will...but I think ego more than materialism drives him.

I hope Barr and Bolton never do what Kavanaugh and Starr did: http://www.allanfavish.com/index.php/vincent-foster

Agree. After watching him flick Nadler and company out of the way at that committee hearing, I think Matt would strike fear in the hearts of evildoers.

I didn't say that Trump was being materialistic. I was simply responding to you comment about people who "spend millions on a political campaign to get a job that pays thousands".

As I pointed out, one type of person who did that was Donald Trump. Certainly he didn't do it to "enhance his bankroll".

Perhaps, Rosen is in that category.

Here’s a little something for all the Gloomy Guses on the thread:

Gloom, despair, and agony on me
Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all
Gloom, despair, and agony on me

Best President in my 76 years. Better than Reagan at only 2 1/2 years in against tremendous odds and opposition. No way he can be diminished in the history books, although the commieprogs will try.

I think it’s apples and oranges.

Reagan had to fight the Soviet Union.

Trump has to fight the Democrat party.

So he can leave in a few years and land a $10 million job.

Never ever happen

Ilhan Omar might turn five percent

Five percent of two percent at most of the population

Nothing can change diehard inter generational red diaper baby secular Jewish as identity folk

Nothing

They have to see the light on their own

It’s rare but happens

Since WWII Jews have not voted over 39-40% for Reagan and Ike respectively

Since 1988 no more than 22-24%

I mean if you have a family where great great grandma was a Debs marcher and great Grandpa thought the Rosenbergs where framed and grandma mom slept with Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin..

And daddy campaigned for Gore Lieberman and thought Obama was a demigod and donates to the SPLC and ADL and all the talk of nasty Christian conservatives and racism and anti semitism lurking in ever shadow heard all your life plus this afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted dogma seen as a noble paradigm to leave the earth better than you found it

Not to mention feeling like you’re an outsider once you leave the modern Pale......which is basically big coastal cities and Chicago and southeast Florida

You get indoctrinated

It takes a curious and strong willed person to break that....

Stephen Miller is a perfect example

I’m a southern baptist of many many conservative on social issues background

It’s easy for me....99% of my family and peers think like me
