What we need is justice. A special counsel to bring these high treason co-conspirators to justice.

Why appoint a special counsel? There are no conflicts or other of interest that would preclude the DOJ from doing this right now.

In fact, Barr's appointment as AG -- after spending 25+ years outside of government -- probably puts him in an position to oversee any investigation, prosecution, reorganization, disciplinary action, etc. in the DOJ.
