I’m happier at this job than I have been in years. Heck I like it more than the military.

No rain for us, thank goodness, because we sure don’t need it. There was a little rain in other parts of the state though.

It was mostly cloudy all day and even though the temp reached 60, the north wind made it miserable outside.

Yeah, I’m thinking that north wind might make the 50-something tomorrow feel cold. Fingers crossed for some warmer weather and sun this weekend.

I'm an old Army avionics guy, (35K) from the '70's. Vietnam UH-1's, AH-1G's, OH-6's, etc.

That was when the signal school was at Fort Gordon, GA. Good memories among the bad.

Yeah, I figure the wind’s blowing harder up there than it is here based on checking in on some eagles around DC. It was really whipping this afternoon. Y’all are closer to the storm’s center than we are.
Maybe you’ll get a nice warm-up this weekend. It’s supposed to start warming up here tomorrow so you should follow soon.

No more freezing nighttime temps either!

When I joined and went to AIT, I was 68F....that became 15F around 2005. I worked on UH-60 and CH-47. Now currently I’m working on UH-60’s
