Republican Sen. Marco Rubio shared an image Sunday showing a bloodied Muammar Gaddafi, the former authoritarian leader of Libya, in the moments before he was killed drawing criticism from some who read the Florida lawmakers message as one of support for United States-led regime change in Venezuela. Rubios tweet had no text. It simply contrasted one picture of the authoritarian Libyan leader smiling in a white jacket and sunglasses, alongside another image...

We came, we saw, he died. Cackle Cackle Cackle
All of the outraged commenters on Rubios Twitter feed seem to forget who was Secretary of State and potus at the time Qaddafi was murdered (the Beast and Zero).
They all thought it was so wonderful when Qaddafi was bayoneted in his rear because their savior zero and the witch-who-wouldnt-be-president were behind it, no pun intended. Now they are self-righteously indignant over Qaddafiss murder.
Disgusting.
Well said, and hopefully Putin realizes that establishing facilities in the area would be a clear trip wire that Trump will react to forcefully. The resources belong to the people of that nation.
Rubio is a pathetic little girly boy.

I feel strongly we should encourage Venezuelans to shoot Maduro in the face.
If this Maduro dude has a Twitter account, he should simply post Rubio’s back-and-forth with Chris Christie at that GOP debate in 2016. LOL.
Who now? Marco Corlerubione?
Maduro should step down....about 6 feet below the ground.
He has a real hang up with Walls.
Rubio is scum. Compromised scum.
Rubio, you ass, that is almost a signal to Venezuelans to act like hyenas. What are you thinking?

We’ve always had a presence in SA. Let the CIA and their SA contacts do what they have to do. Under no circumstances do we send government troops.
No, we do not NEED their oil. However, whoever controls it, controls the largest oil reserves in the world(I think). Therefore, it is much more politically important than other countries in South America. That is why Russia, Iran and China are very interested in the outcome of the country. That much oil buys power. We do not need Russia and China controlling that country with that much oil. We already have China running the Panama Canal. It is in our interest and the interest of the rest of the free world for Venezuela to once again become a free democracy.
Rubio is correct in that IF Venezuela becomes free, the next could be Cuba. Cuba greatly depends on energy from Venezuela.
Maduro is scum..Rubio is an idiot.
Sukhoi Su-30 Russia multirole Su-30MK2 35[10] 12 on order

There were threads where the Venezuelan gold has already been shipped to “safety” abroad. As I recall the first notice had it going to Russia. A second and later piece had it going to Dubai.
Rubio is a fool if he thinks Obama’s Libya fiasco was worthy of replication.
No reason to attach Libya?
Hussein Obamas Arab Spring was about giving Arab countries to terrorists. Hussein tried to do the same thing in Egypt but the Egyptians tried to tell the US Hussein was working for terrorists, not us
Hussein and Hillary then tried to turn Syria over by taking weapons out of Libya and giving then to Syria. Ever hear of Benghazi? Things didnt go as smoothly asHussein and Hillary wanted!
You are so correct. Hussein obama tried to do the same thing in Egypt on behalf of the muslim brotherhood. Syria was in their target too.
Our situation is much worse with Turkey now too. Remember obama’s first call after he was elected to the head of a foreign state? Yep, it was to Erdogan.
He made our situation in both Iraq (creation of ISIS) and Iran so much worse too.
I think the whole op was either poorly planned, or they did not get enough internal/external assistance from the Venezuela army and/or Colombian/Brazilian govt. Not a surprise. Looks like we swung and struck out. Now it will be harder for an old style coup. It will take U.S ground forces which I do not recommend if Trump wants reelection.
