Our cities are inundated with transplanted New Yorkers. Driving down from my mountain home to the Charlotte airport, I've seen a constant stream of New York license plates now for years. And they're bringing their politics with them.
Even "conservative-leaning" New Yorkers are more liberal than conservative. Our state is now solid purple -- and solid blue is coming up now fast. It's why we have GOP-in-name-only Senators like Burr and Tillis. It's why a reliably-solid red county like Union had such a close election this year -- one that is still undecided.
New Yorkers are a true cancer to a society. They embed, infest, and consume their host. After that, they move to another host -- like YOUR home state.
They won’t. It’s their religion. They are cancer.
There is an old expression which used to be common but for some reason I don’t see it as often. “We don’t care how you did it up North”.
Northeasterners have ruined my beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia by voting for what they were fleeing.
