Are there any consequences whatsoever for making up a story like this, falsely accusing people and wasting taxpayer dollars investigating.
Of course, it enhances the credibility of fake news organizations and provides ongoing evidence that they are corrupt.
They have two people who are they interviewing now, ONE who appeared on Empire LOL this whole thing was a publicity stunt
Most had that hint from the beginning.
My favorite part of the bullshit story is that after the “attack” - he still went to get a sub sandwich and brought it home. I wonder what he had on it?
CHA-CHING!!!
That is why he went on TV to cry because he can come out later and say “see I told you the racist Chicago PD is against me, Im such an innocent loaf”
Somebody needs to FOIA everything, make sure they don’t bury the evidence.

One would hope so, but since he’s a member of an officially recognized grievance group, I wouldn’t bet on it happening, even if he’s caught red handed here.
Okay, now we’re getting into farce.
“Jussie Smollett with the rope, tied in a Windsor knot”
BATTERED chicken on ASSAULTED bun.
CC
Just like Kaepernick this is a career Ender for this guy.
They also hint that the solution to 2 + 2 is finally on the horizon.
They have clues!
Supposedly the attackers had been stalking Smollett for some time. Planning this attack.
So, stalkers planning an attack on a celebrity, planning it so well that they knew just where to attack him so as not to be captured on video surveillance did not bother to learn how to tie a proper noose and instead tied a Windsor knot
And to top it all off a man is attacked and has a rope forcibly place around his neck, escapes his attackers after having been beaten but keeps the rope around his neck until he gets to a hotel where his friend gets him to call the police.
It begs credulity.
Regarding your tag line: I don’t care that all-caps is supposed to be akin to “shouting”. Shout all you want. However, all-caps is hard to read — much harder than mixed case, following normal grammar conventions. When you post to a site like FR, you’re publishing to a mass audience. Consider your audience — if you want people to read your remarks, don’t make it unnecessarily difficult for them to do so. Ironically, your device (all-caps) to emphasize your message, actually diminishes it.
BTW, I’m not trying to single you out here — just taking an opportunity to remind people of one of the reasons we have such grammar conventions.

And the DNC has consistently refused to produce the server the eeeevil Russians allegedly hacked to “steal” the DNC’s emails and give them to Wikileaks. My, my rather a bit of a similarity.
If this turns out to be a hoax, then they need to charge him for false statements and bill him for the cost of the investigation. If he then doesn’t pay, they sue him. I’m getting tired of these d-— N’s making false accusations and nothing being done to them.
There needs to be consequences to these hoax crimes. It is killing this nation and tearing our society apart.
After they arrest & charge him!
