Prosecutors said that she worked for the Air Force from 1997 until 2008 and then worked as a contractor. As a counterintelligence officer, she was deployed to locations in the Middle East.

It’s going to be hard to try her since she is still living in Iran. I don’t think they will extradite her.

Witt has evidently fled to Iran. But she can be tried in absentia. And she can sentenced in absentia. And that’s exactly what should happen.
President Trump, get this done. There is no down-side here.
Actually, the best thing to do is suggest that she was a double-agent, working with Mossad on some project at one point. Iran will figure she’s some kind of triple-agent, and dump her in some river.
Is anyone waiting in breathless anticipation for the crack investigative journalists of the MSM to write the definitive story telling us what motivated this traitor.

That’s actually a pretty good idea. Start a few rumors here and there. And then let the Iranians “discover” some incriminating papers.
