President Trump poked fun at Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Sunday for vowing to tackle climate change as she kicked off her 2020 presidential campaign in a snowy, freezing Minneapolis park.
"Well, it happened again," Trump wrote on Twitter Sunday evening. "Amy Klobuchar announced that she is running for President, talking proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures. Bad timing. By the end of her speech she looked like a Snowman(woman)!"
Klobuchar previously endorsed the so-called "Green New Deal," a massive Democratic legislative program that promises to combat climate change, in part through a massive influx in spending. Republicans have decried it as unrealistic.

I can see someone pointing to a huge sloped dune of snow, caption: “Senator Klobuchar has not finished her speech yet.”
Reminded me of the belief that if it rained, your typical Turkey would look up to see if it was raining, then drown, being too stupid to avoid the rain. That may be an old wives tale.
Is her name too weird to allow her to run for president? Hope so.
Yes, a dozen years ago I had some dirty hippy warn me that the sea level would rise up to a marking painted on a building at the water’s edge. The building and paint job looked faded, so I asked him how much the water had risen since that forecast was marked on it. He looked at me like I kicked him the testicles; because it was a lib hive nobody had ever asked that (it was clear that it hadn’t risen at all since some other hippy - probably his father - had painted it in 1969).
“The Day After Tomorrow” is likely required viewing in the schools there.

Amy is definitely is working against Minnesota’s better interests in claiming the climate is getting warmer and we need to combat global warming.
She made another egregious error in laughing and praising the addition to Minnesota’s population of about 400,000 Somali immigrants. At least I think she said 400,000. Living in Minnesota, I can tell you that although we can accommodate several thousand new immigrants from Somalia, bringing in 400,000 new immigrants from an African nation where they are used to a warmer climate, and who are Muslims, is bound to cause a cultural shock. Guess what our former governor, Mark Dayton, told the citizens of St. Cloud when they expressed concern about what appears to be an invasion of too many foreigners into the community; people who do not seem to be willing to assimilate? “If we don’t like it we ought to move somewhere else.”
No consideration as to the costs of building new schools and remodeling bathrooms to accommodate their foot washing fetish, etc. Nurses and teachers are routinely disrespected by the male Somali students. Liberals tell us, “Don’t worry, just move.” - or - “you are racists.”
Amy does not seem to have any idea in her Washington DC head about what she and her leftist friends are doing to average citizens.
I endorse talking about ‘climate change’.

Liberals are actually thinking of ‘global warming’. But, it’s not politically correct of scientifically correct to talk about ‘global warming’, so, they’ve chosen the better politically accepted ‘climate change’, while they actually have ‘global warming’ in their heads.

Global warming or climate change, the extent of my support is just talking about it. End of story.

Guess the thing to do would be to go through crowds at those kinds of speeches & take names. Then build a database. Then see how many times those names turn up & at how many different places where there is an election in progress. People who stand out in the snow listening to the crap being spouted are suspect.
