Climate change will even change the color of the oceans, study says

The ocean will not look the same color in the future. It won't turn pink or anything radically different; the change will be more apparent through optic sensors than though the human eye. But it serves as an early warning sign that global warming is significantly altering the planet's ecosystems, according to a new study.

Essentially, climate change will make the blues of the ocean bluer and the greens greener. Scientists figured this out by creating a global model that simulates the growth of a tiny creature that lives in the oceans and affects the color we see. Their research was published Monday in the journal Nature Communications.

Climate change will bring a color change to half of the world's oceans by the end of the 21st century, the study says. That's bad for climate change on several levels: For one, phytoplankton remove about as much carbon dioxide from the air as plants and help regulate our climate, research shows. They are also key to other animals' survival.

"The change is not a good thing, since it will definitely impact the rest of the food web," said study co-author Stephanie Dutkiewank, a principal research scientist in MIT's Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences. "Phytoplankton are at the base, and if the base changes, it endangers everything else along the food web, going far enough to the polar bears or tuna or just about anything that you want to eat or love to see in pictures."

They’ve changed before and they will change again and much of it has zero to do with anything weve ever done.

Mr Sun is the biggest natural force changing what happens on the planet. Nothing else comes close.

“Anything you want to eat or love to see in pictures”

Well, that pretty well covers it.

“It won’t turn pink or anything radically different; the change will be more apparent through optic sensors than though the human eye.”

Translation: No one will actually be able to see the change with own their eyes except for special people with sensitive eyes who are told there has been a change. But optic sensors will be able to see a difference in photographs taken at different times and seasons by different equipment picked by special people who want to show there has been a change. And these special people will be calling themselves settled climate scientists so it will be settled science as soon as they say it.

Except for maybe gear oil.

Don’t really want to eat it or see pictures of it.

I guess I’d have to add ear wax to that list, too.

Don’t give them ideas. Future article, “Climate change will cause rainbows to be different in the future”.

Note:

They start with an unproven assumption about what the temperature of the oceans will be 80 years from now.

That is not science. It is science fiction.

I do know that there is a White Sea but I didn't know we had oceans of color! Perhaps trans-racial oceans? Or oceans that identify as oceans of color?

(Hmm. New pic of Goebbels!)

I resent being forced to pay for LIEberals to create “studies” that hawk their ludicrous claims for a need to tax me for my carbon content.

Propaganda should in the least be self funded.
