Does this sound overly funky to you?

On the one hand they are saying the 10AA targeting peptides used for targeting are not immunogenic because of size, and yet they say they are conjugating 3 of them to a larger peptide toxin, which would seem likely to be a big enough complex to trigger an antibody response with time.

Who knows how immunogenic their molecules will be. They’ll just have to be tested. What’s more funky is that this approach is hardly novel, it’s being highly hyped by non-science outlets, and it’s coming out of a part of the world that does this kind of dubious biomedical porn regularly. THIS ONE TINY ISRAELI BIOTECH COMPANY IS MAKING SURGICAL ONCOLOGISTS ALL OVER THE WORLD NERVOUS!

I personally have little doubt that the first real hints of future successes against any given cancer will not be out of some startup with a name like “Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies” at a gay “incubator” promoted by Drudge or NewsMax.
