Just a saw a report that three of the injured officers are in their 50’s, one is over 40. Wondering if that figures in in any way....
Likely detectives. In many PDs they are older than patrol officers or SWAT. Not likely expecting the reaction they got. Good friend retired at 50 from NYPD as Detective First Grade. Made hundreds of arrests. Never fired his weapon. If they expected resistance, well that’s what ESU was for.
