Ocasio-Cortez says she’ll ‘miss’ Sundance film premiere ‘due to complications’ from partial government shutdown
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Saturday that she won’t be attending a premiere at the Sundance Film Festival “due to complications” from the partial government shutdown. It wasn't clear at press time what those complications entailed.
The lawmaker wrote that she was “sad” to announce that she’d be missing the debut of “Knock Down the House,” made by Jubilee Films.
“For almost two years, a mom followed several women as we ran for Congress. I was one of them,” she tweeted. “This film was made, with love, for people.”

I’ll miss it because I have church meetings and choir practice and Cub Scouts and the science team and Weight Watchers and supervising my children.

Took me a while, but I finally figured it out.

Did I miss something? I thought the shutdown was over as of yesterday? If there’s something to vote on, the House can probably win any Democrat bill it wants to without her.
She changed her plans when she found out that the Sundance isn’t a tribal ceremony offered to the sun god by Elizabeth Warren’s people.
And engaging in the traditional unclothed hijinks for which the event is known would assuredly become a viral video.
I’m fascinated by her appalling ignorance/stupidity.
They’ll get a clue - when Venezuela happens here.
(But I doubt that the PTB will allow Venezuela to happen here. They know that this is the ‘milk cow’ for almost the entire world. They’ll just let us be COMFORTABLE slaves.)
