Mechanical malfunction? Negligent discharge resulting in death? Did she stumble into a compromising situation between 2 male LEOs? Just a friendly midnight game of Russian roulette?
Probably nothing to see here.

Why were 2 on duty cops with an off duty cop at the on duty cop’s apartment? Why weren’t they out, you know, on duty? Why were they at home goofing around with another person?
Pretty sure they murdered this woman after luring her to this place. I wouldn’t think it would be too hard to find out why they did that.
But this story, as told, is not plausible in the least.
I wonder if she had any incriminating evidence against two dirty cops...
So she was eliminated before she could report them.
My cousin died in this way, he was just a young kid. I still can’t believe that anyone is this stupid! So sorry for my cousin!
The movie “Deer Hunter” comes to mind.
My wife never has forgiven me for making her sit though the the Russia roulette part of the movie...
It was our first date....LOL...
Makes me wonder how many times on duty this officer had gone to his apartment instead of working. Nobody said if drinking was involved - seems pretty likely.
Shaking my head at the level of stupidity we encounter every day.
This can’t be true.
Sure, they’ve lowered standards for entry to the police academy, but this is below retarded for anyone with firearms training.
Maybe the “Russian Roulette” story was more palatable than the truth, whatever it might have been... perhaps sexual rejection.
If true, this was stupidity beyond belief. The only thing with more remote odds is that the story is true.
There was some kind of intimidation / coercion going on and it resulted in the death of the officer, which may have been the original intended result, just not at this particular time and place.
I have no first hand knowledge as to how corrupt or incompetent SLPD may be, but unless they are the equivalent of MS-13 manned by Barney Fifes, it shouldnt take more than a busy afternoon to get to the bottom of this and provide the truth.
The curriculum at the police academy will now change. Instead of teaching important things they will now spend 8 hours on Russian roulette.
History[edit]
The term Russian roulette was possibly first used in a 1937 short story of the same name by Georges Surdez. However, the story describes using a gun with one empty chamber out of six, instead of five empty chambers out of six:
‘Did you ever hear of Russian Roulette?’ ... with the Russian army in Romania, around 1917... some officer would suddenly pull out his revolver, anywhere, at the table, remove a cartridge from the cylinder, spin the cylinder, snap it back in place, put it to his head and pull the trigger. There were five chances to one that the hammer would set off a live cartridge and blow his brains all over the place.[2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_roulette
I don’t believe this story, either. Was she getting ready to rat out corrupt cops to IA or the Feds? This guy just drew the short straw and had to take care of business. Watch for a sweet plea deal to see if the prosecutors are in on it.
Probably wouldn’t play the lottery because the odds were stacked against them.
Former football player Herschel Walker said he played Russian Roulette a number of times but wasn't suicidal.
Hard for most to believe but Herschel said in effect that as a competitor, he regarded Russian Roulette as a form of ultimate competition.
Murder charge is warented. This wasn’t an accident
Was she conscious at all before she passed away? Any final words? Or is that between the cops?
I did not know Police used revolvers any more.
