McConnell is willing to fight for a judicial nominee because:
1. It is not legislation. He is not directly responsible for future rulings.
2. It permits the Neocon (Trotskyist) brand of pseudo-conservatism to be promulgated through the courts (a leftist tactic), again requiring no proper Congressional conservative legislation that would anger his donors and masters.
3. It is a feather in his cap, which has few other kinds, so that persons like you will sing his praises.
