All it took was calling them out as “Fake News.”

They have spent the last three years tripping over themselves to prove it’s true.

First thing is to invalidate them as a news organization. Call them left wing entertainment and revoke their press pass.

It does not matter if the American public gets the truth as long as there is a negative cry against the president.

Postmodernists deny the existence of universal objective truth. There are only narratives that work to promote the leftard agenda. Pragmatists believe that if something works, then it is the truth.

There is no reason to believe Buzzfeed, Salon, or any of those far left “news organizations.”
They are full of a supposition that is intended to paint President Trump in a bad light, make him look anti-American and drive down his public polls numbers.

There is no reason to tune into the Tonight show, or any of those far left, late night 'comedians'.

#5. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.

There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

Add to the tonight show with the morning shows like Ellen, Today , GMA crap where the ignorant , mindless fools watch and listen to every word as if it were gospel.

The “comedy” shows are part of the coordinated MSM fake need complex now. They get the Media Matters jour-no-list talking points. All coordinated.

Americans want the truth.
Would that that were true. In real life, everyone wants their own agenda to be validated.
We need the truth. Not an agenda.
True. That’s what we need, but we can never take for granted that we are getting it.
The natural disposition is always to believe. It is acquired wisdom and experience only that teach incredulity, and they very seldom teach it enough. The wisest and most cautious of us all frequently gives credit to stories which he himself is afterwards both ashamed and astonished that he could possibly think of believing.

The man whom we believe is necessarily, in the things concerning which we believe him, our leader and director, and we look up to him with a certain degree of esteem and respect. But as from admiring other people we come to wish to be admired ourselves; so from being led and directed by other people we learn to wish to become ourselves leaders and directors. And as we cannot always be satisfied merely with being admired, unless we can at the same time persuade ourselves that we are in some degree really worthy of admiration; so we cannot always be satisfied merely with being believed, unless we are at the same time conscious that we are really worthy of belief. As the desire of praise and that of praise-worthiness, though very much a-kin, are yet distinct and separate desires; so the desire of being believed and that of being worthy of belief, though very much a-kin too, are equally distinct and separate desires.

The desire of being believed, the desire of persuading, of leading and directing other people, seems to be one of the strongest of all our natural desires. - Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759)

People settle ideas in their minds, and convince themselves that they are worthy of being listened to - and followed. Then they do their best to snow everyone else into believing - and following them.

As soon as anybody has to say “if true”, they should just leave it there as unproven allegations and hearsay. But, the liberal media is not about the truth; it’s all about accusations which will get to the people, who are expected to form negative opinions about the preside. Most importantly, the accused is expected to defend himself and prove the allegations false. Exactly the opposite of how the American justice system works.

Most importantly, the left knows that, if they pile on with allegation after allegation, people are bound to start wondering if there isn’t truth to at least one or more of the allegation. IOW, where there’s smoke, there could be fire?

I’ll grant the left-wing media one win, and that is that, they surely know how to play the game, and the president has been on defense ever since he announced his run for the presidency. They are relentless, even when nothing has been proven, and if something does prove to be wrong, they immediately find some other ‘crime’ to accuse Trump with. Republicans, on the other hand, have not come to the president’s defense as strongly as democrats want the president out of the White House. In fact, one could conclude that many republicans want Trump gone just as badly as all democrats.

There are rats all over the political spectrum, and it’s not just on the liberal side.

People . . . do their best to snow everyone else into believing - and following them.
. . . and that used to be much more widely understood than it now is. Before the founding of the wire services after the 1844 demonstration of the telegraph, all newspapers were taken to be the opinions of their printers. And if you lived where there were multiple newspapers available, you bought the one whose printer’s opinions were congenial/interesting. Much as we choose to, or not to, listen to particular talk radio shows.

People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices.- Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations (1776)
Since the AP “wire” and other wire services constitute virtual meetings of “people of the same trade” (journalism), it is naive for anyone to assume that journalists do not conspire against the public. In fact, they do it in broad daylight - with their propaganda campaign to exclude conservative thought from journalism. Journalists don’t claim superior wisdom, of course - that would be too obvious. So they use “objectivity” as a euphemism for wisdom - and claim that.

Hate-filled Democrats will refuse to believe the Mueller denial because they WANT to believe this as true.

We have always known that socialists manipulate facts to fit their agenda. The anti-Trump agenda needs facts that fit the narrative he is a criminal, racist, sexist who hates immigrants. Gutters, like Buzzfeed, provide those facts so hate-filled Democrats can continue believing that they see the truth about Trump while the rest of the nation is blind and stupid.

This is called feeding your delusions and it is very, very dangerous because it usually leads to violence.

I’m sure some of these fools have been throwing in the “seriousness of the charge” crappola too, for good measure.

When CNN reports a liberal story as fake news, you know you’re done for.

NBC’s Chuck Todd was giddy ...

That about sums up the problem right there. Our mainstream media is out to get our president (and conservatives in general) at all costs.

At ALL costs. We need to remember that.

That's the main reason I cut my cable TV a few years back and refuse to even click a link for a mainstream media article unless maybe it's about something that is 100% not political. Because it will be spun to paint conservatives in the worst possible light.

Free Republic is more or less a free haven from that nonsense but still we have a dedicated cadre of Freepers who insist on posting this dreck here for the rest of us. They say it's meant to "keep us informed" as to what the other side is saying. But anybody with a room temperature IQ already knows what the other side is saying and that has been consistent for years.

Buzzfeed, Salon and similiar lying/BSing fake news should be banned from Free Republic as news and placed in Fake News.

Any rectum/troll posting Buzzfeed Fake news without a qualifier as fake news, should be banned to posting to his fake news site/blog.

“There is no reason to believe Buzzfeed, Salon, or any of those far left “news organizations.” They are full of a supposition that is intended to paint President Trump in a bad light, make him look anti-American and drive down his public polls numbers. Anything full of so much blatant opinion with no supporting facts is garbage. On Friday, Buzzfeed proved that to be true.”

Thanks for posting this reality. We are finishing our 3rd year since I "cut" the cable. We stopped watch local news except for Fox, long before that. We pulled the on local and net Faux after they started attacking President Elect Trump in any Faux news situation.

In August 2015, NBCUniversal made a $200 million equity investment in BuzzFeed.[30] Along with plans to hire more journalists to build a more prominent “investigative” unit, BuzzFeed is hiring journalists around the world and plans to open outposts in India, Germany, Mexico, and Japan.
