Bonjour y'all! Laissez le bon Trump rouler!!!

I don't give a flying Fig Newton. I'd rather eat them.

Time flies when you're having rum.

Thanks be to God who made the sun rise and the moonshine.

RushTalksOnceAgainAboutTheShutdown

I'm a 24-7 subscriber who tries to listen in the evening. These days I sometimes don't even make it through the first hour. He just keeps doing the same show over and over again.

I realize that there must be some repetition to bring new listeners up to speed, but there are a lot more regular listeners than new listeners and I'm tired of hearing that Rush supports the fight for the wall using the shutdown to try to make it happen. We all do. I'm tired of hearing that the Clintons, Obama, Comey, et al. are criminals who should be brought to justice but probably won't be. We all know this.

Somehow Savage knows how to make his shows fresh; and I think Rush used to do this, but not any more.

I listen to Rush and Savage, back-to-back, on WSBA 910, here in York, Pa. Both have good and less-than-good shows; that’s just the way things go. Savage talks about food and his dog; Rush goes-off on Macs, iPhones, football etc.

That’s why God put a Mute Volume button on keyboards.

I’ve never heard any talk show host be 100%, everyday. Never. Even Bob Durgin had off-days.

I listened off and on during the first hour. I had to mute it, now that he’s going back on his schtick of spending fifteen minutes talking about how great he is every time anyone in the media mentions his name.

The only person I can think of more narcissistic is Obama.

He sure has a penchant for getting every mention of his name, in print or electronically, to replay and highlight. ***Mute***

Rush-Roosh:

Do you remember the famous quote from George Stephanopoulos during the Clinton administration:

The President has kept all of the promises he intended to keep.

“it was a nice touch to end today’s show with:

“I won’t be here tomorrow” *queue the outro music*”

I wish he would retire or at least let Chris Plante sub for him permanently, like a
couple three times a week or something. All of his subs SUCK except maybe Mark
Steyn...lets hope its him.

CP would be a perfect replacement for Rush, who should have retired on top, a year or two ago. He’s lost his edge.

Here's a different take on Hot Buttered Rum....for coffee lovers.
The Spiced Butter is also good on toast.....or maybe on a baked apple.

Hot Buttered Rum Coffee

ING 8 tablespoons salted butter cup brown sugar teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon grnd cloves 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
4 ounces dark rum 4 cups freshly brewed coffee

SPICED BUTTER beat butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg smooth. Chill firm 20-30 min.

ASSEMBLY Layer in coffee cup: tb Spiced Butter, oz rum, one cup coffee. Stir/combine. Repeat with rest if needed.

SERVE immediately with soft-whipped cream, a sprinkle of grated nutmeg, cookies.
