World Health Organization: Anti-vax Movement One of the Top 10 Health Threats in 2019
Newsweek ^ | 01-15-2019 | Aristos Georgiou

The World Health Organization (WHO) has listed vaccine hesitancy—the delay in acceptance or refusal of vaccines despite their availability—as one of its top 10 health threats facing the world in 2019.

The phenomenon has taken hold in a number of countries around the world in recent times, and notably in the U.S. as well. Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that while coverage of most recommended vaccines remained relatively stable and high in 2017 for American children aged 19 to 35 months, the percentage who have received no vaccinations has quadrupled since 2001.

According to a recent study published in the journal PLOS ONE, increasing numbers of people in many U.S. states now hold anti-vaccination views.

“Since 2009, the number of 'philosophical-belief' vaccine non-medical exemptions has risen in 12 of the 18 states that currently allow this policy: Arkansas, Arizona, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah,” the PLOS ONE study authors wrote in their paper.

Other countries with notable anti-vax movements include Australia, where around 40,000 children are unvaccinated because of the objections of their parents, and Italy, which introduced new rules in 2018 suspending the mandatory vaccinations that were required for children to be admitted to school.

According to the WHO, humanity has made significant strides in the past few decades when it comes to global health: Life expectancy has increased in many parts of the world, polio is on the verge of eradication and 6 million fewer children under the age of 5 died in 2016, compared with 1990.

But despite these achievements, significant global health problems remain, ranging from the prevalence of deadly noncommunicable diseases to the damaging effects of environmental pollution.

Who’s arguing against informed consent?

Everyone who tries to shade debate by claiming those w questions are anti-vaxxers.

Have you watched the 10-min video by Sheryl Atkinson I posted above?

Questions are fine. But questioners of any and all stripes aren’t entitled to their own sets of facts. The questions aren’t the problem.

I’ve never had a flu shot either, and don’t plan on doing so, in large part due to stories like yours.

I am simply looking for some circumstantial proof.

Haven’t heard of silver killing viruses but it knocks the doggies out of bacteria. I make my own nano silver and use it for tooth and gum health. Any sign of discomfort and I swish some in my mouth 2x a day for 3 days. Problem solved. Haven’t needed to visit a dentist for seven years.

Currently watching Project Blue Book on TV. The government cover ups sound eerily similar to the link you posted for vaccines.

I guess we really are getting all the government we are paying for.

There is no evidence that their kids are not vaxxed. That was a rumor started by the anti-vaxxers.

Yep.

You might want to research Operation Mockingbird for a glimpse of our CIA at work, then consider Anderson Cooper was an intern in the CIA. #FakeNews didn't just happen; our media contains more propaganda that Pravda at it's height.

Nope, what is harmful is the Vax über Alles movement.

Vaccines are good, but they are extremely flawed, and the pro-vax people see no flaws.

On this site we are praying for a little boy ( Gd bless Richie) who is fighting for his life after being vaccinated. He is not alone suffering terrible neuro damage from simply too many adjuvants attacking his brain at once. Too many vaccines, given from unpredictably mixed multidoses, at once.

It’s all clearly written on the package inserts, the risks of brain damage and death. But the parents are never shown this truth, nor given a choice not to take the vaccines. Many vaccines also cannot be found singly IN THE USA. You are forced to take them in bunches, like MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) or DPT.

Children should appear in good health to take a vaccine in order to minimize risk of permanent damage. This is known. However, a doctor can’t see which babies or children were exposed to a virus, or which children have poor gut bacteria biomes (most of the immune system). To be safe with these particular 1950s concoction vaccines, you’d need gut bug testing days earlier to make sure each child had optimal biome to withstand the immune assault. If they didn’t, they’d need a round of probiotics. And no infants should be given vaccines until age1 or until they are eating regular foods. Babies don’t have much of an immune system on their own.

Vaccines are good. But their formulas are primitive not 2019 science, and the ways they are given are careless to the developing brain. The education on vaccines given to parents is deceptive.

That is why there is an anti-vax movement. First, do no harm!

With a little digging, you can see the origin of these vaccines and what is done to develop them, and then realize nobody of God should ever have anything to do with it.

Prove that he never refuted it. See the problem?

I doubt he even knows it exists. It’s a baseless claim on some obscure wacko site.
