Sounds like Mattis was one of these guys who always believed he was smarter than his boss and could manipulate him. Then he ran up against Trump and found he couldn’t be rolled.
Yep. As a military careerist, Mattis is well-versed in working the boss. Too bad for him Trump is not a typical boss.
