Based on the timing of the article, I think it understates the amount raised as of “Thursday evening” in the text.
It opines that maybe this will be a waste of time (refunds may be needed) - I dunno but I doubt the “journalists” are actually concerned for those donating.

You are correct. The Democrats, RINO’s, and the Media will be working overtime to discourage people from making a contribution.
Exactly. It is a slap in the face to a perpetual do nothing Congress. Trump needs to push this and encourage it and give it credibility by EO. It would work in his favor.
