It’s the old nature/nurture thing. Personally I believe that the vast majority of homosexuals in the world are made so due to environmental factors.
I also believe that just about anyone could be made to believe they are homosexual under a given set of rearing pressures and circumstances.

And if homosexuality WAS nature rather than nurture would not the number of homosexuals be decreasing over time until none would exist due to the ones with the gene/genes not procreating therefor eliminating it completely?
In double-blind research studies (when gays can be HONEST without ‘outing’ their history), the number of gays who were molested by a male (especially before puberty) was above 90%. Now, don’t ask me where those scientific studies are these days as I am sure they have been flushed down the rabbit hole. But those were believable and validated statistics, before homosexuality became such a political football.
