I miss roller towels. It was my responsibility at one employer to change out the roller towels when they were all used up. When it comes to drying your hands, nothing beats a good cloth towel. Decent quality paper towels are OK. I hate air-dryers with a passion. The newest ones, while reasonably effective, are so loud that I’m sure they’re damaging to your hearing. The old style ones took way too long to dry your hands.
Roller towels were well known to keep the Bolsheviks out, too.
