The area of specialty my friend worked in was cancer.
Why does USC need a gynecologist? That’s just begging for trouble.

I had a male gynecologist until he retired several years ago. One of the best and caring doctors that I’ve ever had.
After I turned 35, he wanted me to have a mammogram. I was surprised because women don’t usually have mammograms until around age 40 and I wasn’t experiencing symptoms.
It turned out that he had a nurse who died in her 30’s from Breast Cancer and that was why he believed in being tested at a younger age.
I had my mammogram and, several tests later, ended up having surgery to remove a pre-cancerous tumor. I was shocked, to say the least.
I will always be grateful to him for that.
I was just going to ask.
HOWEVER ... many, if not most, of the women were referred by the university and never met in advance.
Having been in similar situations it is possible they did not meet him first. IOW, the nurse opens the door to the exam room, gives the patient a gown, remove clothes, the doctor will be in.
BTW ... people had been complaining about this guy FOR YEARS.
They should be sued. It’s disgraceful.
All of my gynos are now female. However, previously,
I have had exceptionally good male docs.
Every female doc I have has been terrific.

That’s why I’m so happy with my current female gynecologist.
She’s the head of Gynecological Oncology at Cedars Sinai. She is very good and very professional.
So, because you went through the trouble of changing into a gown, you must stay and be examined by a known creep like him?

It's my unschooled opinion that if young Kate was in a lineup with 10 other women, she'd make them "not guilty" by extension.
But I'm not a pro, like you.
