I’d rather do my work on my own, including growing and picking my own crops, to having diseases and lawlessness surround me (and paying higher taxes for the privilege of having my country invaded).

But then they would be covered by minimum wage laws, minimum safety standards, and employers would have to pay various taxes and disability. How inconvenient.

Bingo, We need to stop having two tiers of workers. One without papers who have to take slave labor wages.

Can we still get workers to pick the Oranges? Sure, pay the going fare.
