I went out and bought an assault vest that carries 4 30-round magazines for 7.62, a 45 cal pistol with 3 mags. At combat load that sucker is heavy!

I have one too, and it IS heavy when fully-loaded. Better to have ‘em and not need ‘em, than to not have ‘em if you need ‘em.
