Corsi sues Mueller over alleged grand jury leaks, seeks $350M in damages: report

Jerome Corsi, the conservative author accused of lying under oath to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators, filed a federal lawsuit late Sunday accusing Mueller of leaking grand jury items and various constitutional violations, including illegal surveillance, reports said.

Politico reported that the newly filed suit claims that Mueller tried to get Corsi to give testimony that Corsi said is false. He is reportedly seeking $100 million in actual damages and $250 million in damages due to injury to his reputation.

The author has theorized that investigators hoped that he would admit to a connection with WikiLeaks' Julian Assange. The connection would bolster their Russian collusion investigation, he said. A link between Corsi and Assange would make it easy to tie in President Trump's former adviser Roger Stone, he said.

American intelligence agencies have assessed that Russia was the source of hacked material released by WikiLeaks during the 2016 election that damaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Mueller’s office is trying to determine whether Stone and other associates of President Trump had advance knowledge of WikiLeaks’ plans.

Corsi, the former Washington bureau chief of the conspiracy theory outlet InfoWars, rejected a deal with investigators that would have required him to plead guilty to perjury. He said he could not lie to something he knew to be false, even if it meant living out his life in prison.

Looking again at that particular article, written by former spooks, I think it is simply misinformation. The fact that it was shopped to stupid liberals like The Nation is not a good sign. There is also Russian misinformation about Seth Rich intrigue that has been floated around.

I think nobody is credible, and certainly agree that Brennan and others are not. I'm not sure the truth will ever come out and I think an insider attack is just as likely or even more likely than an external hack. But an external hack is possible, not "impossible" at all. The same exact dumping of Exchange Server email into a file can be done locally or remotely. The file can be easily transferred in less than 87 seconds (and I have no idea where that number actually came from).

Totally agree.

Your fallacy of composition is that inter-server transfer does not use the internet if the servers are located in the same site.

I went from vultr to digital ocean. I used to also have linode and can spend 50 cents or whatever to rent one for a few minutes to do a test. The idea that they cannot pull 10’s of MB per second through the internet is just plain wrong.

So, has any proof ever been shown that it was the Russians?

I have seen it said MANY TIMES that the transfer speed of the DNC "hack" was I think 20 MB/SEC.

Nobody gets that kind of data speed over the internet which means it was a connected device like a thumb drive. That information points to someone like Seth Rich, not internet connected Russians.

I think the source of the 20 MB/SEC figure is the DNC approved investigators, not the FBI as the DNC would NOT give them permission to inspect their servers. Of course, the DNC would NOT let the FBI inspect anything, facts would expose the RATS as liars and murderers.

If Cosi can get WIKILEAKS' Julian Assange to show proof it was Seth Rich who provided the stolen files, then the RATS' are exposed for all to see.

Trump should pardon Assuange snd go get him in Trump’s plane then have him testify. You KNOW the DS has a price on his Head. He would need Trump security.

Hi.

My guess is that Mueller knows the name Seth Rich in more ways than one.

Mueller and his happy band of democrat hacks are withholding exculpatory evidence. Just like they did with Senator Stevens and Enron.
