ICYMI, our elections are a joke. The rule of law is DEAD. We have an irreparably corrupt stasi state in the hands of the radical left and a republican party that genuflects to it.
It will be a miracle if Trump finishes out his term much less win a 2020 ‘election’.

You seem to forget that in a LANDSLIDE Richard Nixon’s Republicans did not come close to winning the House; that in a landslide Ronald Reagan in 1980 only gained 34 (less than the Ds did this time) and were 120 short of a majority, or that in 1982 (right where Trump is) the Ds gained 26 seats, not far from where this election turned out.
This was pretty standard stuff, even for very, very popular presidents. Note that in the senate we gained 3, should have had 4-6 if not for weak candidates. That’s cuz people see senators and presidents as “national” and congresscritters (still) as “local.”
